Lake Winnipeg

A web exhibition by William Pura

This exhibition is comprised of photographs that document several years of my visiting Lake Winnipeg. Having grown up in Manitoba and having lived on the lake as a child, my life, like that of so many people who live in the region, has been shaped in many ways by the interaction with this huge body of water.

In these new works I have tried to re-focus my thinking about the lake and explore relationships that I have somehow overlooked in the past.
